Proficy Machine Edition 7.0 - question on tag cross-reference

Proficy Machine Edition 7.0 - question on tag cross-reference

Proficy Machine Edition 7.0 - question on tag cross-reference

(OP)
I have used Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC and they have the cross-reference feature on ladder logic software to find all the locations where the tag is used in the program. But on the Proficy 7.0 Machine Edition, I see that this cross-reference feature is missing.

Any suggestions how to work around this? (other than the search feature).

RE: Proficy Machine Edition 7.0 - question on tag cross-reference

(OP)
On the Tools menu --> Goto Feedback zone.
Select References Tab.
Select (Highlight) the tag in the ladder logic that you are interested.
You will find the list of all the tag locations under the references tab.

It would be a good idea to get familiar with your software.
I suggest you start by clicking "Key Concepts" just beneath "Get Started" on the "Home Screen" of "InfoViewer", it only takes a few minutes. There may be additional "Easter Eggs".
