Revit Structure

(OP)
Any advice on where to start learning?  Have it installed, but my background is in MicroStation.  There is a wealth of information out there, but I am having trouble picking what I need to be focusing on.  Bought the software for a specific project.  Large building.  All we are doing is the foundation designs.

RE: Revit Structure

There are independent, Autodesk-licensed companies that can train you for anywhere from a day to weeks, depending on your needs.  Having someone show you the basics would be useful, but like most other software, the best way to learn is to just dive in and play with it.  Revit can do pretty much anything, it's just a matter of getting it to do what you want.

It is important to determine early on what the expectations of the client are for the model.  Do you have to model each rebar?  Base plates?  Anchor rods?
