Rigid region and reaction forces

Rigid region and reaction forces

Rigid region and reaction forces

(OP)
Hello,

I'm trying to calculate stress and reaction forces in a plastic pipe aplying an inner pressure.

It's the first time i use a rigid region.

So I have applied a rigid region in the pipe and then all DOF = 0 in the all master nodes.

It seems that calculates well the stress but the reaction forces are extremely exagerated.

As i have applied pressure in all elements (including the rigid region), does ansys put the pressure distributed forces of the rigid region directly in the reaction forces?

Thanks a lot in advances
