Changes made in Admin... Local?

(OP)
Okay, I'm getting tired of changing every dim I create from mm to inches.  So, going to try the admin change.  If this were any other program this wouldn't be an issue, but nothing seems logical in Catia, and I just want to confirm that if I make admin changes, I'm only changing how Catia operates on my machine, and not on the network.  I need inches, pretty much everyone else needs mm.

RE: Changes made in Admin... Local?

C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\DassaultSystemes\CATSettings
where xxx is your username. that's on win 7 and vista, on win xp it's documents and settings/xxx/ and the rest is the same. you will need the option show hidden folders turned on.

RE: Changes made in Admin... Local?

the REF catsettings folder is define in your env file.

Check your env file in order to understand where you env get its reference CATSettings.

The modification of decimal inches to imperial mm is done on the drawing standard.

The drawing standard folder is also define in the env file.

Make a copy of any file before you change them.
