Revision problem

Revision problem

All our parts are always created with Revision _ and first time a revision occurs it should start from A. If by mistake a part is created with Revision A, is it possible somehow to change this to _ without getting problems when if a revision occurs it changes back to A?

RE: Revision problem

We use a utility from Siemens called 'Recursive Rename' (contact Siemens or your reseller and ask about it). If/when you have it, select the Item Rev in TC and run the Rename utility. This will let you change the Revision value to anything you like.

Sorry i did not reply earlier. I have not contacted our reseller about this. I will wait until we really have to change the Revision value and keep "Recursive Rename" in mind until then.

Thank you for your help!
