Truss Elevation

Truss Elevation

Truss Elevation

(OP)
I have a three dimmensional braced frame system.

Is there any function that will allow me to print out the elevation of a portion of that truss system along a particular plane?  And I don't mean just an X, Y, or Z view...

As in, say I cut the truss system at a value of Z=8 feet, what does the system look like, and print it?

RE: Truss Elevation

Mike -

There isn't a direct function for anything like that.  The closest that RISA currently gets is to provide the "criteria" select tools to allow you to select or unselect items based on their X, Y, or Z coordinates.  Then you print out a view of the model with only those items selected.  That gets you most of the functionality.
