Wiring materials inside Dewar

Wiring materials inside Dewar

Wiring materials inside Dewar

(OP)
Hello all,

I'm preparing to install some electrical components within a cryogenic environment and would like to know what types of wire, insulation, heat shrink tubing and solder are acceptable for this application.

Thanks for any information on this topic,
Chuck

RE: Wiring materials inside Dewar

What sort of cryogenic environment? Be more specific about temperatures and any other conditions.

cloa,

Yeah, I suppose I should have been a little more specific. The components are inside of a Dewar that will be at liquid nitrogen temperature of 77K and 10^-9 torr.

Thanks for the reply,
chuck
