Hello again!

Thanks in advance for your help until now!

I'm inserting a multinear isotropic hardening table to describe the plasticity in a material that I've done a Tensile test.

The Ansys Help says that the first point inserted should be the Tensile Yield Strength and the strain should be zero. This is my doubt. The strain in the Yield Strength is not zero.

Should I subtract the Yield Strength STRAIN to this (it will become zero) and all the following points?

Example:
Stress - Strain
361,84 MPa - 0,00539
367,50 MPa - 0,01341

Should it become?:
361,84 MPa - (0,00539-0,00539)= 0
367,50 MPa - (0,01341-0,00539)= 0,008


These are already the True Stress and Strain. I'm having problems in calculating the True Stress and Strain after the Maximum Stress. But this is another thing...

The last point should be the the ultimate strength or the point where it breaks?

don't forget that the strain at the point of the yield point is all elastic (in theory at least -- well, from 0.02 to 0.2%). make it zero and subtract the elastic part.
