Wanted idea

(OP)
hai to everyone,

I need an idea for solving the following issue.

Its full of pneumatic signals.

1. A level switch mounted on the tank and having an pneumatic signal as input and gives an pneumatic output when level reaches high.
2.I have a Pnuematic actuator with valve in the outlet line of the tank,
3. Now if level high the valve should open and if the level low (means no output from the level switch) the valve should close.
So can anyone help me how to and what will be reuired to solve this.

the switch output will 15 psig

thanks,
symon

RE: Wanted idea

By implication you don't want anything other than pneumatics?

And, you want the high level switch simply to protect the tank against overfill or does it runout the contents all the way down to the low level switch?
If it simply protects against overfill or running dry, then what about hysteresis?

In any event, the simple answer is to Google Fluidics and go from there.
Pretty well anything you can do with relay logic you can also do with fluidics.
So once you have your control logic worked out you can implement it using fluidics. At least, with a simple level control function you can.

And to see what can be done with plastic pipe, empty lemonade bottles and simple fluidic switches, see Theo Jansen

Try Tippets Fountainsfor some background and insight into the use of fluids.
