Helical Pier

(OP)
Does anyone have a reference for designing grade beams/footings for uplift using helical piers.  We are probably using A.B. Chance Type SS/RS combination helical piles that the geotech recomended with uplift caps.  The caps give a compreesion and uplift value, but I'm assuming the uplift value is for the connection of the cap to the pile.  Are there any recommendations for the rebar layout in the footing under a column with uplift over a helical pier?  Is there a way to actually design the concrete to cap plate connection for uplift?

Talk to AB Chance - they will know

RE: Helical Pier

Each menufacturer has their own method for top attachment. Some are like a cotter pin arrangement.
