Add watermark on drawing sheet

(OP)

I'm looking for a way to add a watermark to a drawing sheet. I know I can export PDF with one and I know I can plot with a banner. What I would like is to have the watermark on the sheet so that it will show/print/export all the time. I have created an ER for this but thought I would query the experts on this forum for a workaround.
One way I have done it is to create a solid of the text and add a shaded view but this is a tedious process.

RE: Add watermark on drawing sheet

Why not just create a large note (as shown below) across the face of your drawing using some unusual font.  You can place it on it's own layer which would make it easier to turn ON/OFF by changing the visibly status of the layer.
