Drafting: dimensions in dotted lines after update of views

Drafting: dimensions in dotted lines after update of views

(OP)
Hi,

I'm making draftings of my models in NX 7.5. However, each time I change something in my model and I update my views in drafting mode the line of my dimensions I placed before changes from a solid line to a dotted line. How can I make them solid again without deleting them and place them again?

Thx

RE: Drafting: dimensions in dotted lines after update of views

Simply reattach them.

They are going dotted to indicate that they are not longer associated with the original model and need to either be deleted and recreated or reattached.  If you select the dotted dimension and press MB3 you will see an option to 'Edit Associativity'.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
