In NX7.5 specify segments for approximation is missing?

NX6 can smooth a spline approximation for defining a number of segments.
In NX7.5 is no longer possible?
I thank those who can give me suggestions.
Ciao.

RE: In NX7.5 specify segments for approximation is missing?

Have you looked at...

Edit -> Curve -> Smooth Spline...

RE: In NX7.5 specify segments for approximation is missing?

Perhaps you are looking for Insert -> Curve -> Fit Spline...? Make sure you are running with full menus.

RE: In NX7.5 specify segments for approximation is missing?

In NX6 was:

Edit->Curve->Parameters->OK
then
->Smooth
then
->Segment
then
->Approximate

In NX7.5 is no longer possible.

RE: In NX7.5 specify segments for approximation is missing?

If you create the spline as associative (there is an option in the studio spline dialog box) you cannot edit the spline in that way. If the spline is unassociative it works the same way.

This behavior is the same as in NX6.

Not quite what I was looking for but this method is however a workaround.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Ciao.
