What causes Pro/E WF2 to exit/crash when editing sketch dimensions?

What causes Pro/E WF2 to exit/crash when editing sketch dimensions?

(OP)
This is a fairly common occurence among users at this location.  When it happens, you lose everything up to the last save.

The problem normally occurs after re-entering a sketch to modify sketch dimensions.  Double-clicking on a dimension may or may not result in an immediate exit.  It is sporadic, and might only crash 5 or 6 times per day.  The work-around is to edit all sketch dimensions indirectly using the "modify dimensions" buttons.

What might be the source of this problem?

RE: What causes Pro/E WF2 to exit/crash when editing sketch dimensions?

This is when we go to PTC or our local support rep and report the problem.  Typically there is no way to answer that type of question without the help of some form of technical support.

Hope that helps,
