I have been using an IR3220S H-Bridge IC that has become obsolete. Is there any other ICs I could use since there is no replacements for it? My load is a motor that can draw about 5 amps and needs to be bi-directional.

A quick search of online parts stores such as digikey,newark,or mouser came up with many options by different manufacturers.  You would have to sort through them to find the one that fits your needs the best.
