Reductions in Concrete Strength Due to Non-Standard Conditions

Reductions in Concrete Strength Due to Non-Standard Conditions

(OP)
Every now and then there are discussions of what certain non-standard conditions may exert on the tested concrete compressive strength. I ran across years ago a table and just recently found it when trying to weed through papers in the moving process and thought that this might be of interest to many in this forum.  I apologize in that I do not have noted the source of the table.  Hope this helps.

RE: Reductions in Concrete Strength Due to Non-Standard Conditions

Good info.  Just a hunch because the text formatting looks familiar, but I would guess it came from an old version of ASTM C39.

I doubt that very much - I could probably find it again but with the move coming up I have no time to wade through all my engineering hard drives . . . .

RE: Reductions in Concrete Strength Due to Non-Standard Conditions

BigH...it was reprinted in the ACI Materials Journal, Vol. 97, 2000...but that is not the original source.  I'll see if I can find the original source.  Probably Neville or Bureau of Reclamation.

Good info...thanks for posting.
