Mill Test Report Clarification?

Mill Test Report Clarification?

Mill Test Report Clarification?

(OP)
I would like to know if there is somebody that could help me to understand or explain when is need or required a MTR for a pump and what parts of the pumps.

Regards

RE: Mill Test Report Clarification?

Unless required by a reference document or code/standard, the requirement for a material test report (MTR) for pump components is based on your desire for material traceability and condition of material supplied.

RE: Mill Test Report Clarification?

Agree with metengr,I have been making pump parts for process pumps as well as slurry pumps and MTR was provided by us to confirm, conformance to the particular standards against which they were manufactured.
