AutoPIPE HMF problems

AutoPIPE HMF problems

AutoPIPE HMF problems

(OP)
Hello all,

I am trying to do a harmonic analysis via HMF files I have created from PULS generated HMFs.

My formatting is correct, however I get an error "E801-44: Undefined point name in harmonic force data".

I tried going through my first HMF file and entering in one point at a time.  After about five points I found that the next 10 or so would cause the error.

Funny thing is, the points that are undefined (and cause the error) all exist in my model.  None of the points causing the error are elbows.  They are valid mid points in a span of piping....

I don't understand what is causing the error.  ANy other no nos for HMF files with Autopipe?  I know it doesn't like elbows or bends in HMF files, but what else?

Well luckily a colleague was awake and helped me figure it out.  Turns out HMF files in autopipe are CASE SENSITIVE...

So... use CAPITAL letters for point names!
