Hello everyone,

How do you make a DIY crystal growing / pulling machine from start to finnish?

RE: DIY silicon crystal growing / pulling machine

Bet you could find one using a Google search.

Or buy some baby crystals - feed them and keep them warm.  Let them get some light.  They will grow up!!

RE: DIY silicon crystal growing / pulling machine

Are there any time constraints?

RE: DIY silicon crystal growing / pulling machine

We had ,done this as a part of our Experimental Techniques course work. The issue is whether you have really grown a single crystal!!. It needs several trial and error methods to establish the process controls. also, you need to be confident of the starting material. Any impurities can spoil the game.
