Missing lines when 2D drawing is plotted

Missing lines when 2D drawing is plotted

Missing lines when 2D drawing is plotted

(OP)
I am having a problem with lines being missing when I plot out 2D drawings.  The drawing looks fine on my screen, but when I plot a paper copy, or as a PDF it is missing lines.  I have tryed to toggle different settings including changing the view properties "Exact" and "CGR".  I seem to get better results with the CGR view, but it is still missing some lines.  Does anyone have any further suggestions?

I am running V18

RE: Missing lines when 2D drawing is plotted

we also have some line / curve missing in some drawing. Our plotting process include translation to vector file and this is were we have the problem.

Try to change the line type / thickness.

R18 is not supported by DS anymore, I doubt you'll find a fix for R18.

RE: Missing lines when 2D drawing is plotted

If the preview looks fine then I would look at the plotter, can you try on another plotter/printer?

RE: Missing lines when 2D drawing is plotted

We've seen poor quality printing with some of our network printers. We switched from using a PS format to PCL, and the drawings printed much better.

RE: Missing lines when 2D drawing is plotted

If the issue is not printer related I would try tools/option/general/display/performance and set static level of detail and pixel culling to zero
