Surge Arrester mounting

Surge Arrester mounting

(OP)
Does anyone know of an arrester manufacturer that makes an overhead distribution arrester that is mounted in parallel with a dead end insulator and is therefore suspended under the line instead of mounted to the dead end structure with a bracket. We require arresters on both sides of a normal open point. On a 3 phase double dead end, this means that there are 6 arresters and 3 switches that all need to be mounted on the pole and or cross arm. This causes problems with clearances and in the operation of the switches.

I am pretty sure I have seen this configuration in a catalog, but cannot find it. I have contacted Cooper (They replied back and don't have this) and Hubbell (they have yet to respond). If you know of a product that may meet our needs, please let me know who makes it.

Thanks,
Tom
