there is a fuel circulation module in my project. maximum working pressure of supply pumps in this module is 10 bar. module supplying fuel to generators by pipeline. pipe sections are connected to each others by flange and 8 bolts in each flange.
my question is, what should be the minimum grade of bolts in flange, in order to handle the working pressure inside the pipeline? what calculation should i follow in this case?

Usually from the info you may find the suitable bolt type, solicitation and capacity. A number of parameters influence the design and the tributary axial load to every bolt may not be enough to design properly the connection.
