Integer solving using MathCAD

Integer solving using MathCAD

Integer solving using MathCAD

(OP)
Hi there,

I am currently doing a design project on a sheet pile wall.
In determining the horizontal load distribution trying solving an integer for the starting boundary which has apparently led to some limits in MathCAD (or a wrong approach from my side).

On the attached screenshot you'll see the set up of the solve block. All indexed variables are constants.
I hope someone out there can give me a hint how to proceed.

Best regards,
Andreas

RE: Integer solving using MathCAD

Try adding a constraint X=floor(X) to force X to be an integer.  There may not be an integer solution and if you use minerr instead of Find, it might have a non-integer result.
