Interpret property text in draft table/text box

Interpret property text in draft table/text box

Hi All,

it is possible to have dynamic property text in a Callout, e.g. '%{ay|autolabels1.par}'.

But I did not find a way to achieve this with entries in a table or text boxes (it just shows the verbatim string).

Is it possible to get this functionality?

I would like to fill a table in the draft with various dimensions from a part, and have it associative.

Many thanks, MT

Not possible up to ST3 - not sure about ST4.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

RE: Interpret property text in draft table/text box

As a work-around try this - ST2 onwards.
Name the dimension you want in the part model (eg LENGTH) and expose it in the variable table.
Create a parts list on the drawing and you can extract the variable value to a column in the parts list.
You can then use the qualifier /@n where n is the number of dp's you want for the value. eg %{LENGTH/@0|G}
