Where can I find the dimensions for channels 4 x 4.5#? (Not 4 x 5.4#) which is all I can find.

RE: structural steel channels ASTM A36

What properties are you looking for?

RE: structural steel channels ASTM A36

I am looking for the cross section dimensions. What is the 2005 SCM? I am a tooling engineer and have to make a base of this material that has to be weight accurate.

RE: structural steel channels ASTM A36

Steel Construction Manual (The Steel Manual).

d=4.00; tw=0.125; bf=1.58; tf=0.296

Sorry for not being more informative.
If you need a PDF of the page from the manual I could post but I am not sure if that is allowed.

RE: structural steel channels ASTM A36

By the way, there's an app for that. (must less expensive than buying the book for occasional use.) Search for "AISC" or "steel".

I don't know how accurate you need to be, but there are rolling tolerances for these shapes.
