Filler metal to Weld Monel 400

(OP)
Hi
I have a Ni-Cu cladded plate (base metal is CS and the cladding metal is a 1/8" Monel). Now I need to weld a Monel fittings to the Monel side.
My question is

What is the best filler metal to weld Monel to Monel?
What is the suitable welding techniques and heat treatment Procedure?
If by any chance I burn the Monel cladding during welding and happen to come in contact with carbon steel, what are the things i need to take care?

Thanks.

RE: Filler metal to Weld Monel 400

You will melt in a little of the base steel.  You will need to run some tests to see how much.
You should be able to keep the Fe level low enough to not hurt the Monel properties or corrosion resistance.
Check Fe and C in welds to see.
Yes, there are special M-400 fillers.
