Any suggestions on how to weld these two pipes together? (picture attached)

First, adjust your cope so that the intersecting tube saddles better. You have a large gap in the top joint visible and it looks like a knife edge in the side joint. A good cope will change both conditions. The knife edge will then offer a shoulder with mass enough to help prevent burn through. Second, the actual weld process in indeterminate from your jpg. Not knowing the material involved makes the wildest SWAG impossible.
