Hole Table in drafting (no arrows)

Hole Table in drafting (no arrows)

Is there a way to configure the drafting hole table feature found in
insert--> table--> hole table
to NOT put the arrows for every single hole. It makes things look to crowded and hard to read.

RE: Hole Table in drafting (no arrows)

Before creating your Drawings, go to...

Customer Defaults -> Drafting -> Hole Table -> Label and Precision

...and at the bottom of the page, toggle OFF the 'Display Hole Label with Leader' option.  Now save the Defaults changes and start a new NX session and you should be good to go.

Im using NX 6.05.3 MP9...i don't see it there...are you talking a later version?

RE: Hole Table in drafting (no arrows)

Yes, I was running NX 7.5 (you didn't indicate what version you were running when you asked your question).  And yes, it appears that this option, 'Display Hole Label with Leader', was added in NX 7.5.

Thanks John...Is there a way to do it manually in NX 6? I didn't see anything

NX 6.05.3 MP9

RE: Hole Table in drafting (no arrows)

The best that you can do is to delete them one at a time.  Just double-click on the leader and you will see a on-screen tool with an option to delete the leader.

I found that...thanks, but I was getting this note "Specified point is null" then it gives me two options "Continue edit"...or..."Dismiss changes" So i choose "continue edit", then had to go into the original tool and click ok... or apply, THEN it would delete... My customer is gonna have to live with them.

RE: Hole Table in drafting (no arrows)

I dont see that option
insert--> table--> hole table
I am using NX7.5

RE: Hole Table in drafting (no arrows)

(OP)
I'm not sure if its the case in 7.5....but in 6, you have to create the environment variable UGII_DRAFTING_HOLE_TABLE=1

I dont see that option.

Make sure that the 'Role' that you're using includes 'Full Menus'.
