Don't know if this is right forum.

But, here goes

Does anybody here have a circuit diagram or can tell me where to get one of a PC board in the receiver control unit of a Casablanca fan with a wall mounted W32 controller.

My problem is that this "world class" fan has inferior electronics and the Mfr  are not helpful in helping the consumer troubleshooting their boards. They think it is OK to throw away a pc board at $116 a pop when all it probably has is a blown cap or resistor. I guess this is the American service system .

Comcokid,

Thanks for the reply. I had seen both links and they don't help much.

I took the PC receiver board out and found a burnt out TRIAC in my case. Without any circuit diagram I am flying blind. I will replace the TRIAC and see what happens.

My, advice, don't buy a Casablanca fan; they not only can't do the electronics design properly, but have the gall to withhold vital information for an owner to do the repairs, forcing the average owner to make a choice of paying upwards of $200 in parts Plus service or simply discarding the unit and buying a more reliable one at less than the cost of repairs.

I am also truly surprised that a circuit diagram hasn't emerged

on Google, since this problem has been around for at least 7 years.

Consider putting some sort of heatsink on that triac as that is a common cause of their demise.
