Automatically re-sizing datum planes

Is there a way to re-size datum planes so they envelope the entire part?  I know I can manually drag the points on a plane but there are times when a plane is way off to the side so a shortcut would be very helpful.

RE: Automatically re-sizing datum planes

If you don't see the auto-resize option on your RMB (Right Mouse Button) menu you just need to drag one of the corners to manually resize then you will get the Auto-Size option.

Thank you, never knew that feature was there.

RE: Automatically re-sizing datum planes

One other thing to remember, if the plane does not contain any geometry it will not automatically resize.

I use a lot of reference planes for DriveWorks and have found this to be the case.

Please feel free to let me know if I am missing something.
