representation of three-line diagram for generator
representation of three-line diagram for generator
(OP)
the designer draws a threeline diagram with the actual position of the sequence of phases of the generator terminals.

RE: representation of three-line diagram for generator
Showing the phase sequence, the connections and the physical orientation on the generator is very helpful when checking the phasing of the system design and connecting to the bus and transformers.
I have spent a lot of money getting the phasing corrected when these details were missed in design.
RE: representation of three-line diagram for generator
physical orientation of the terminals on the generator is not part of threeline diagram;
sequence phasorial diagram can be part of threeline diagram but I learned that is always counterclockwise.
RE: representation of three-line diagram for generator
Physical orientation of the terminals and identification of the phase sequence should be shown unambiguously on some drawing in the package, probably a physical layout drawing or a phasing diagram.
