Can you insert a layout into powerpoint?

Can you insert a layout into powerpoint?

Can you insert a layout into powerpoint?

(OP)
Does anybody know if you can insert a layout, with the model viewports, into powerpoint? When I try to export the drawing from paper space, all I get is the layout, no model viewports. Vice versa when I try it when in model space.

Thnx

RE: Can you insert a layout into powerpoint?

hi
Have some way
1. In model space you change all of layer to color 7
and export to .wmf file after that you use corel draw open and save as to jpg or...
2. In model space you export to .dxf

3. This way can use when you in paper space ( that you need?) But you must have Acrobat Reader 4.0 or 5.0 full ( include Arobat Distiler and Write) you set Arobat Distiller to defaut printer and plot like you use your printer . This file after printed have *.pdf , You can use Corel if it  small or Photoshop if it big to convert to .jpg .

RE: Can you insert a layout into powerpoint?

Just press "Print Screen" and then open Paint and then paste in the screen shot.
You can then use paint to clip out the toolbars, menue's etc and save to a file.

Open Powerpoint and insert the file.
Done.

RE: Can you insert a layout into powerpoint?

Dear dambuider,
You can create a PNG graphic file using the PLOT command.
Enter the PLOT command and activate the 'Plot Device' tab
in Plot dialog box. In list of plotters select the plotter
"PublishToWeb PNG.pc3" and enter the output file name and
path in lower right side of dialog box.
Then in 'Plot Settings' tab select the resolution you need
and click OK.
A PNG file will be created and you can insert it into
Power Point.
I think there is a similar facility to create a WMF file.
:)
