Copy a Part in Teamcenter?

Copy a Part in Teamcenter?

Copy a Part in Teamcenter?

(OP)
Hi guys,
I have a drawing that I created in teamcenter that I want an exact copy of.  Is there a way to create a duplicate?
The reaason I ask is I want to split the current drawing into two different drawings.  If I can create a duplicate of the drawing, I can just delete what I don't need in each of the new drawings.

Thanks,
Chris

RE: Copy a Part in Teamcenter?

I'm assuming you have the model and drawing in the same item. If so, open the drawing, go to File -> Save As... and supply a new dataset name.

But if you have your 2d on the one hand and your 3d on the other hand you can export the 2d and from other 3d import, if you want to aprroach the same 2d obviusly you should update the drawing.
