Default temperature

Hello everybody

I realized that I was giving temperature-dependent MAT properties to all my elements (-30°C,23°C and 80°C) because so were given to me, but I didnt set an initial temperature in the initial conditions.

So my question is: Which temperature is Abaqus using if its not defined in initial conditions even though material is temperature dependent?

Thank you very much in advance

Regards

RE: Default temperature

I think it uses 0 degrees if you don't enter one manually. But you can check that by opening the odb and looking at the temperature plot in the visualization module.

Thanks DanStro. I have no idea of Abaqus View and with HyperView I cant find anything because i didnt ask for a temperature output in my input files.

Double-checked the documentation files but nothing is stated there.
