Hi Guys,
say I have an assembly and it is made of steel, anodised aluminum and delrin parts, 10 pieces for example. I was wondering what colour combinations you found worked best? Some will go some won't, what do you like? What have you found works best in finally putting colour to your drawings? Have you found any textures or material combinations that actually work nicely when you try to render the part? Applications and intentions of course vary but I would be very interested to hear what you have found works well in any of these areas...

cheers,
James

RE: attractive colour combinations, materials and textures..

I really can't give you any color combinations that worked for me, but what I can tell you is your lighting and shadow settings really affect how a color looks.

Hi Jerry,
thanks. Yes, I am finding lighting and shadow really has a big effect. Do you have any examples you could post up?

cheers, James
