Steam shower

Steam shower

Steam shower

(OP)
Hi,

I am looking for a reference to understand the change of phase of steam going out of a nozzle (ie steam shower on a paper machine) and consending on material. If the steam is at 50 psi, saturated, how does it behave when it comes out of the nozzle at atmospheric pressure? Is it going to be superheated for a while?

What are the conditions to get the best heat exchange?

Thx
