Glass Bottle Debris detection?

Glass Bottle Debris detection?

Glass Bottle Debris detection?

(OP)
Hi, I am working with a bottling plant that bottles water and colored juices. They are looking for an inspection method for their line . I have tried Omron using a vision system but because of the color of the liquids and the shape and design of the bottle it wont do the job . They are looking for rust , silt, seals and most important glass particles. Any suggestions would be great .

RE: Glass Bottle Debris detection?

Have you tried using the vision system to look at the bottom of the bottle?
If it's plain enough, contaminants should show up.
If the bottom is patterned, there may be a way to subtract that image (probably requiring image rotation and repeated matching, or physical orientation of the bottle).

RE: Glass Bottle Debris detection?

Bottom-up high-pressure rinsing and continued bottom-up transportation with a simple optical inspection device looking at the opening from down-under before filling is working well. Is there something particular in this plant that makes that impossible?

Half full - Half empty? I don't mind. It's what in it that counts.

How about using humans??

And put some people to work??
