DLOAD help

DLOAD help

(OP)
Hello,
Can someone help me with using the DLOAD subroutine?
I've got a simple beam model. I'd like to apply loads in X and Y based on position, i.e. FX=2X FY=4Y.
Can someone advise? I've attached the python script that makes the simple model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks George

RE: DLOAD help

Hi GeorgeEllwood,

I too am entering the world of subroutines and it is steep learning curve. Also I am not sure if you need a subroutine for what you are trying to achieve?

I have found the following useful, I hope it helps.

- Abaqus Subroutines manual - look under DLOAD you will find information about it there
- See this link http://www.engin.brown.edu/courses/en175/abaqustut/abaqustut.htm
- Here is some documentation about abaqus subroutines: http://imechanica.org/files/Writing%20User%20Subroutines%20with%20ABAQUS.pdf
