I simulate at present with FEMM 4,3 and LUA. I have a staff from steel before a sensor stand. I would like to move the staff as more near as possible to the sensor to be based (without the sensor) and to have its ursprungliche position cyclically (horizontal movement). Does someone have an idea as sowas goes?

I looked up "ursprungliche". I think it means original.

FEMM does not account for voltage induced by relative movement.

You can position things in 2-D x-y coordinates or 2-D r,z axisymmetrical coordinates anywhere you want.

If this doesn't address your question, can you please clarify your question.

In order to make my question understandable, I add a picture. on the left of the picture is a staff from steel and right a sensor. I would like to move the staff possible more near to the sensor and again to its previous position cyclically. But the sensor must remain standing. And with each position of the staff the magnetic field simulate. That is, if the staff makes a step direction sensor, simulation and with the next step also and so on... to the staff to the sensor is accomplished is as close as possible. The same is to take place also on the way back.

It looks like you have something representing a small airgap with different permeability on each side (I'm not positive about the permeability change).

If that is the situation, it is usually critical to have very fine mesh in the small airgap area. For example max triangle side less than 20% of the gap.  You can do this by creating a rectangle to represent the gap area (you already have two sides, just close off the other two).  Put a block label in there and ajdust block label properties to specify mesh parameters.  You can often see significant change as you decrease the mesh size. When the behavior stabilizes with decreased mesh size, then you have reached a good mesh size.
