Section View Problem

Section View Problem

Section View Problem

(OP)
Hello, I am new to ProE and am using Wildfire 4 for modeling and creating drawings. I have created some assemblies and created drawings of them. In some of the section views, the display is not actually following the cut line, in that it shows it cutting through features that are not actually being cut. To make sure it was not just me, I made the cut midway through the part, but it still display features above the cut line as being cut. This wouuld not normally be an issue, but the undesired feature is blocking the view of another feature that needs to be displayed. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Section View Problem

Is there a surface coincident with the section line?  If so move the section off to one side or the other.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

The section line is only coincident with the midpoints of the lines representing the left and right side of the part. The section is a single straight line through the center of the entire part, but the section display shows it cutting through items which are above the section line.
