NX6 exploded view arrangements

NX6 exploded view arrangements

NX6 exploded view arrangements

(OP)
I have an exploded view in modeling with some parts supressed. I created an arrangement of the supression configuration for the explosion. When I place the explosion in drafting, I select TFR-TRI to get the explosion but then the arrangement selection pull down menu disappears?

So my question is how do apply an arrangement (or part suppression configuration) to an exploded view in drafting?

RE: NX6 exploded view arrangements

It's not supported as far as I know.  Also, this is first time anyones ever asked for this that I can recall.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

RE: NX6 exploded view arrangements

don't you just create an arrangement, in model space of the drawing file, and make it display the appropriate arrangement of the lower level assembly, then when you drop your view, select the arrangement from the list?

RE: NX6 exploded view arrangements

I think he's trying to mix Exploded Views and Arrangements.  You need to stick to one or the other.
