Can anyone help us determine size of sample (number of joists) to inspect as part of a condition survey in a large complex?

RE: Size of Sample

ajk1...I typically use 10 percent, but no less than 3 joists.  That has generally been accepted in testimony as being reasonable (just based on rebuttal experts not challenging it or concurring its reasonableness)

Thanks Ron. In fact 10% was what I had in mind.
