Looking for a compressor with a threaded inlet.

Looking for a compressor with a threaded inlet.

(OP)
Hello all,
Im looking for a compressor/pump that will solve my current problem. I need a compressor that has a threaded inlet so that I can pull a gas from one vessel to another and pressurize the second vessel with that same gas. All the compressors I have found just pull the air for the surroundings. Does anyone have any suggestions?

RE: Looking for a compressor with a threaded inlet.

Just to give us some perspective on what you seek,
What gas are you compressing?
What's the pressure in the first tank?
What's the pressure in the second tank?
How much gas are you moving?  I.e. flowrate, or some indication of it.

previously heated air at around 100 F the first tank will be at atmospheric pressure and the second one I would like to pressurize to 300 psi or more. Fairly low flow rate not more than 1-3 cuft/min

RE: Looking for a compressor with a threaded inlet.

Uh, 300 psi or more is the area where you start needing a soap-lubricated or otherwise completely oil-free compressor so as to avoid the occasional Diesel event.

I'm not understanding why you couldn't eliminate the first tank, and draw from the atmosphere with a two-stage compressor with an interstage cooler.
