Plastic machines

Ok, i want to know what type of machine is used to make plastic things like blocks, balls, large beads things like that, and i also need to know of some places that sell these kind of small kinds of these machines.
Thanks for any help.
PS i do not know jack about plastic machines

RE: Plastic machines

Well, to answer it in a truly engineer form: it depends.  More than likely, those types of products are made by injection mold machines.  Of course, that is considering that the items are hollow.  If they aren't hollow, then they could be made several different ways.  Hope that helps some

RE: Plastic machines

well i dont know if there hollow but they do have a hole in the middle of them, and would happen to know of any place that sells mini mouding machines?

RE: Plastic machines

You can contact one of many suppliers as well as look them up on the internet.  You'll want to get with them to tell them what you're wanting to make so they can determine which machine would be best.  Here's a few names:

Van Dorn Demag www.vandorndemag.com
Milacron www.plastics.milacron.com
Engel www.engelmachinery.com
Krauss-Maffei www.krauss-maffei.de
Husky www.husky.ca

These are just a few of the many injection molding machine manufacturers around.  They should be very helpful in getting you the machine that you need.
