I need to set up some lab experiments for a second-year course on transmission lines. And since money is a problem, I simply have to build the equipment to be utilized. Any suggestions, especially based on similar experience?

first you need to define the frequency range of your sources.

If it is 50/60 hz then it is one answer, if it is GHz then another...
