Dear Sir

PSV connection on the diaphragm. But vender drawing not show any isolation valves in the outlet connection to protect the back pressure from headers during shutdown time.
And, also vender told me the isolation valve is not necessary.  If this HIDS monitor the pressure at diaphragm high high, this diaphragm compressor will be shutdown.
Vender said Isolation valves upstream and downstream of PSVs are usually only required if there are two PSVs in parallel.  This then allows one PSV to be removed for maintenance / recalibration / certification while the other remains in service
Could anyone please told me which's vender's excuse  for saving money of this isolation valve or not?

Diaphragm Compressors (See Figure) - The diaphragm compressor is a special type of non-lube reciprocating
compressor especially suitable for the following service conditions:
1.Extremely high pressures.
2.Small quantities of toxic, radioactive, flammable, oxidizing, or explosive gases.
                                                                 
They are applied from 100 to 30,000 psig with a flow range from 0.02 to 3.3 cfm , and
up to 60 HP (45 kW). They utilize a metallic diaphragm to ensure that the compressed gas is positively separated from all other
moving and lubricated parts of the compressor.          
Automatic inlet and discharge valves are located very close to the compression chamber so that the
clearance volume is extremely small. The diaphragm, which forms one side of the compression chamber,
is hydraulically activated by a plunger pump. Diaphragm compressors have the following features:
1.Isolation of compressed gas from lubricant contamination.
2.High compression ratios, up to 20 to 1 for one stage.
3.Low gas discharge temperatures, due to the high ratio of cooling jacket area to flow rate.

4.High volumetric efficiency.
 The diaphragm has an average life of 1,000 to 2,500 hours and a replacement cost of about 5% of total compressor cost.Under
ideal conditions, diaphragm life may be as high as 5,000 to 10,000 hours.  A 25 micron filter should be used in the compressor inlet to insure cleanliness and obtain maximum diaphragm life. One special model uses multiple diaphragms to allow automatic leak detection before contamination of the gas takes place.
