Importing ETABS model to current ETABS model

Importing ETABS model to current ETABS model

Importing ETABS model to current ETABS model

(OP)
I have a situation where I modeled my first floor in ETABS and modelled my second floor in another ETABS file.

What would be the best way to incorporate the two?

RE: Importing ETABS model to current ETABS model

You can import an EDB file into another EDB file. Choose the story you want to insert it.

The main thing you want to make sure is that the story levels, heights etc match exactly between the two models.

RE: Importing ETABS model to current ETABS model

You can export your models to text files, copy and paste all the data from one file to the next and then re-import the new file into your etabs model.
