Display Complete BOM Quantities using ôReuse Patterns/Parts Gatheringö

Display Complete BOM Quantities using ôReuse Patterns/Parts Gatheringö

(OP)
Using Catia V5R19, Service Pack 8, Build Number 19;

Is there any way to display complete component quantities in one BOM when creating them using the "Reuse Pattern/Component Gathering New Instances" option? I would like to display one BOM, not multiple BOM's with the total component quantities.

Any response will be greatly appreciated!

RE: Display Complete BOM Quantities using ôReuse Patterns/Parts Gatheringö

I use the Recapitulation section of the BOM for this as I gather most of my Reuse Patterns.

If you want it broken down in the top section of the BOM then your only option is not not use the gather option when patterning.

That would make the product tree a disaster zone. Any way of having only the "Recapitulation" table appear upon insertion?

Sorry no,  even if you set no items in the Properties for the BOM the blank columns appear.  You will need to delete them in drafting.  Unnecessary move I know.

Derek
