Hi Friends

I have a question in ugnx 7.5 drafting, i,e how to give Dimensions for Isometric view in ugnx7.5

Thanks and regards

RE: Dimensioning for Isometriv view (3D)

The recommended approach is to use the PMI module which was designed, among other things, to do just that.

But in case you don't have the PMI module (which while it is an extra cost module, it IS included in most of the NX Design bundles) you can accomplish the same thing with a bit of extra effort by going into the Drafting module (without displaying the Drawing sheet) moving the WCS so that it's aligned with the plane that you wish to place the dimensions and then use the normal Dimensioning functions to create your 3D dimensions.  Note that you will need to manually move (reorient) the WCS each time that you wish to place the dimensions on the different plane (this is the part that works much better when using PMI).

Anyway, give it try.
