i am a first timer to dis forum and would like to know how to pressure test 420ft of 1\2 stainless steel pipinp

First figure out how much pressure it's supposed to hold.

Use treated water (no chlorides), rated fittings, pipe cap and a pump.

Oh yes, hold for 10 minutes at pressure and check for leaks. Drain and dry.

What is a Material test certificate?

Do we need this each time we order a std 316SS orifice plate?

Can we have one certificate to represent a shipment of orifice plates of different sizes, class and thickness?
